Unable to transfer files using the HAP Music Transfer app on a macOS computer

    IMPORTANT: This article applies only to specific products and/or operating systems. Check the Applicable Products and Categories section of this article before starting these steps.

    The HAP Music Transfer app cannot transfer files on macOS 11.3.1 or later. This is a known issue. Follow these steps to change the SMB Version in the player:
    Note: Before proceeding, make sure the player and HAP Music Transfer app are both updated to the most recent version available.

    1. With the player in Standby mode, press and hold the HOME button, and then press the Power button. The Special Mode screen appears.
    2. Turn the jog dial to select SMB Version and press ENTER.
    3. Turn the jog dial to change from 1.0 - 3.1.1 (default value) to 1.0 and press ENTER.
    4. The screen will return to the Special Mode screen. Turn the jog dial to select Restart and press ENTER.

    After the restart, try using HAP Music Transfer app to transfer files.
