This short video highlights the user experience and benefits of Auto Framing on the Xperia 1 VII.

 It opens on a beach, where a man is capturing video of a boy playing near the water’s edge, with the caption “Auto Framing”. The man is holding his Xperia loosely, at chest level and talking to the boy, without paying too much attention to framing the shot on the display.

Cutting to the camera interface, we see the Xperia has added a white box around the boy's head, demonstrating the focus tracking point, and a larger portrait frame around the boy’s whole body. Both tenaciously track him as he runs back and forth on the sand, and towards the camera. The scene is then split into the two resulting videos – the “While scene” as captured, and the portrait “Close-up”, tracking the boy as he moves.
