(SINGAPORE, 13 May 2024) – Sony Singapore has announced the launch of its Premium Care program in Singapore. Committed to elevating the ownership experience for customers, Sony’s Premium Care starts from just $49 for headphones and $199 for cameras and lenses.

Offering peace of mind and additional value to customers, Premium Care allows owners of select Sony personal audio products, cameras, and lenses² to enjoy an additional 12-month warranty on top of the default 15-month warranty. Over the 27-month warranty period, Sony camera and lens owners can also avail a one-time comprehensive cleaning and maintenance check, sensor cleaning services twice, and a 20% discount on servicing parts outside of warranty coverage.

Commenting on the launch of the Premium Care, Mr. Melvin Pang, President, Singapore Marketing Centre, Sony Electronics (Singapore) said, “At Sony, we deeply appreciate our relationship with our customers, and the introduction of Premium Care underscores our dedication to delivering outstanding customer experiences. Customers have the flexibility to purchase Premium Care as a bundled package with their new Sony product at any Sony store, or they can choose to add it to their purchase within 30 days of initial product acquisition. To be eligible for Premium Care, the customer must:

• Be a My Sony Rewards Member.
• Register the warranty for the product under My Sony Rewards program within 14 days of the purchase of the main unit.
