We were blessed with beautiful night skies throughout our adventure in NZ. Weinitially thought that it would rain frequently in our time there, but I guess luck was on our side (there were short burst of rainfall at times but nothing too extreme).
Did not manage to sight the Milky Way though, will definitely look out for it next time…
