Images don’t always have to be in focus. For more creative results, try setting your camera to a large aperture such as f/1.8 or f/1.4 and capture defocused shots of lights at a distance. This will give you images with nice, dreamy bokeh patterns. |

Flash isn’t always a bad thing in night photography. When shooting against a bright background, camera flash can act as a fill-in light so that your subjects’ features are clearly visible when captured in a photograph. |
