1000X THE COLLEXION (WH-1000XX) | Using the Sony | Sound Connect app
When your 1000X THE COLLEXION headphones are connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth, you can use the Sony | Sound Connect app to adjust audio and device settings, including the Equalizer and noise-canceling settings.
Note: Menu names and steps may vary depending on your device model or OS (operating system).
At the top center of the screen, you can see the name and image of your 1000X THE COLLEXION headphones. Below this, you can check the remaining battery level, Bluetooth codec, and DSEE Ultimate status when this feature is set to On.
Note: Depending on the Listening mode, DSEE Ultimate may not be displayed.
The My Device tab lets you adjust the following functions. Available options vary depending on the model.
- All device settings
- Tap to adjust settings for other functions that are not shown in the My Device tab.
- Ambient Sound Control
- Tap to select Noise Canceling, Ambient Sound Control, or Off.
Tap the right-facing arrow (>) icon next to Ambient Sound Control to access additional settings, such as Voice passthrough.

- The currently selected equalizer is displayed.
Tap the displayed equalizer setting to choose a different one.
If you select Manual, Custom 1, or Custom 2, tap the right-facing arrow (>) icon to adjust the sound to your preference.

- This setting lets you choose a sound setting based on the content or your listening situation.

- When Adaptive Sound Control is On, the app displays your current activity and the status of your headphones.
Tap the right-facing arrow (>) icon next to Adaptive Sound Control to access additional settings.Adaptive Sound Control settings
You can switch Adaptive Sound Control to On or Off.
When it's set to On, the app learns how you use your headphones and tailors the settings to match your lifestyle.
Tap the Settings icon to edit the settings based on your activity pattern or frequently visited locations. - Connect to 2 devices simultaneously
- You can connect your headphones to two devices at the same time.
To choose which connected device plays audio, tap its name in the Connected device list.
You can also pin the playback device in the Connected device list. - Controlling the currently playing track
- You can play a track, skip to the previous or next track, and adjust the volume.
- Edit shortcuts
- You can edit the shortcuts shown at the top of the My Device screen.
