Proper Installation of Drivers and Utilties for Function (Fn) Keys Usage

Below are the basic drivers and utilities needed for the Function (Fn) Keys to work properly;

Please install the following in the order below:

 
1. Setting Utility Series
2. Sony Shared Library
3. VAIO Event Service
4. VAIO Control Center
5. VAIO Power Management

Note: System Reboot may be required after installation

Note: Please make sure also that all the basic/core drivers are installed before installing these particular drivers/utilities for the Function (Fn) Keys to work.

For Windows XP

Below are the basic drivers and utilities needed for the Function (Fn) Keys to work properly;

Please install the following in the order below:

1. SNC (Sony Notebook Control)
2. Sony Utilities DLL
3. Setting Utility Series
4. Sony Shared Library
5. VAIO Event Service
6. VAIO Control Center
7. VAIO Power Management
