An official press release for security vulnerability in SonicStage and SonicStage Mastering Studio. Sony should take responsibility to distribute the program to correct the problem for Sony products even though the cause of the symptom is a part of Gracenote’s module.
The symptom is caused by Gracenote module and they are responsible to distribute the updated program for security and provide the detailed information of the problem. Sony decided to inform the customer of the problem on the each products web page as the most of the customer for the target products are the internet user.
