The Bluetooth connection remains active when the WF-1000XM6 earbuds are stored in the charging case

Possible cause

If your earbuds remain connected to a Bluetooth device after being stored in the charging case, it's possible the earbuds may have gotten dirty or may not be seated properly in the case. For example, they may be slightly lifted, which can cause the earbuds to remain powered on and connected to the Bluetooth device.

Workaround

• Use a cotton swab lightly moistened with water to wipe away any dirt from the earbuds' charging port (A).
  

  Hint: We recommend using a cotton swab with a fine tip. After cleaning, confirm that no moisture remains on the charging port (A).

• Make sure the earbuds are properly placed in the charging case.

How to check if the Bluetooth connection is disabled

1. Place one earbud in the charging case and confirm that the indicator on the case turns on for about 3 seconds.
2. When the indicator turns off, place the other earbud in the charging case, then confirm that the indicator turns on again.
