Windows 2000: How to detect new hardware with Add/Remove Hardware Wizard.
Refer to the followings.
1, Click "Start"-"Settings"-"Control Panel" and double click "Add/Remove Hardware" icon.
2, Click "Next" button in "Add/Remove hardware Wizard" window.
3, Choose "Add/Troubleshoot a device" in "Choose a Hardware Task" window, and Click "Next" button. Windows will search for new hardware.
4, Choose "Add a new device" in "Choose a hardware Device" window, and click "Next" button.
5, Choose "Yes, search for new hardware" in "Find New Hardware" window, and click "Next" button. "New Hardware Detection" window appears for a while.
6, List of detected hardware is displayed in "Detected hardware" window.
7, Click "Next" button.
8, Then click "Finish" button in "Completing the Add/Remove hardware Wizard" window.
