Fluorescent lights have a certain frequency. Depending on the shutter speed you are shooting with, fluorescent lights can cause horizontal lines, banding, or flicker to appear in the video recording. Shooting under different lighting is recommended, however, adjusting the shutter speed of the camera can also help eliminate this issue.
NOTE: Some third-party, post-production software offers a 3-way color corrector tool that may help eliminate these lines in existing video recordings.
