When viewing digital broadcasts, the picture is blurry.
You can sometimes reduce the blur by changing picture quality settings below.
- Set Digital noise reduction to Low.
- Press the HOME button on the remote control.
- Select
Settings.
- The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
- Select Display & Sound — Picture — Advanced Settings — Clarity.
NOTE: If Advanced Settings is not shown, select Clarity. - Select BRAVIA Settings or Picture & Display — Picture adjustments — Advanced settings — Clarity.
- Select Display — Picture — Advanced Settings — Clarity.
- Select Display & Sound — Picture — Advanced Settings — Clarity.
- Select Digital noise reduction and set to Low.
- Adjust the Sharpness.
- Press the HOME button on the remote control.
- Select
Settings.

- Select Display & Sound — Picture — Advanced Settings — Clarity.
NOTE: If Advanced Settings is not shown, select Clarity. - Select BRAVIA Settings or Picture & Display — Picture adjustments — Advanced settings — Clarity.
- Select Display — Picture — Advanced Settings — Clarity.
- Select Display & Sound — Picture — Advanced Settings — Clarity.
- Adjust the Sharpness.
- Reduce the current Gamma value by 1.
- Press the HOME button on the remote control.
- Select
Settings.

- Select Display & Sound — Picture — Advanced Settings — Brightness.
NOTE: If Advanced Settings is not shown, select Brightness. - Select BRAVIA Settings or Picture & Display — Picture adjustments — Advanced settings — Brightness.
- Select Display — Picture — Advanced Settings — Brightness.
- Select Display & Sound — Picture — Advanced Settings — Brightness.
- Reduce the current Gamma value by 1.
NOTE: If the above settings do not improve the issue, try changing Random Noise Reduction setting. Random Noise Reduction item is displayed when Clarity is selected.
