Question

The difference between the Creative Style function and the Scene Selection function.

Answer

The differences between these functions are as follows:

  • Scene Selection function:
    According to the scene you selected, the camera not only processes the images but also controls shooting adjustments such as shutter speed and aperture. To shoot beautiful pictures, all you need to do is to select a right scene mode, and the rest is done by the camera.

  • Creative Style function:
    You can control image production according to the scenes or styles you want to reproduce in the image. This function is independent of exposure (aperture, shutter speed) control. You can select pre-programmed image styles according to not only scenes but also artistic intentions. In addition, you can adjust the parameters to obtain the desired results for your images.

You cannot use the Creative Style function when the Scene Selection function is used.
