2008-2009 EISA AWARD WINNER FOR BEST CAMERA PRODUCT
Sony's  350 Digital SLR
Sony has once again been recognised by the EISA, with an award given to its  350 DSLR camera. Providing the benefits of DSLR, it also offers a unique Live View capability with super-fast AF, which the EISA Judging Panel was especially impressed with.
In EISA’s own words: “The 350’s most impressive feature is the superbly designed Live View system. Thanks to a unique design, the camera can perform fast auto-focusing in Live View mode using the camera’s primary AF system. This avoids the problems of secondary AF systems, and delays while the mirror flips out of the way.” While a versatile, tiltable LCD monitor opens up a new world of creative possibilities for composition and unique angles of view.
“At such a reasonable price, this camera’s robust build and good image quality make it an ideal option for hobbyist photographers,” added EISA.

2008 TIPA Award Winner for Best DSLR Entry Level Camera
Sony's 200 Digital SLR
The largest, most influential photo/imaging press association in Europe, the TIPA (Technical Image Press Association) has voted Sony's compact 200 Digital SLR as the Best Entry-Level DSLR in Europe.
Citing it "easy to use, easy to carry and offered at a very attractive price with its 18-70mm zoom lens", TIPA judged the 200 as "a dream camera for beginners who want to start enjoying all the benefits of D-SLR photography. Its 10.2 megapixel sensor delivers top quality images up to ISO 400 and beyond,* and the autofocus system is fast and accurate. The large LCD screen gives a clear, bright display when reviewing images, and both the in-camera image stabilisation and the anti-dust system are very effective in use.
