On 14 August, Sony brings to you "Sony PMW-EX3/EX30 Launch Event", the latest XDCAM EX™ event for the Broadcast and Professional Industry in Singapore.

Introducing the new additions to Sony's XDCAM EX™ video production suite, the PMW-EX3 camcorder and the PMW-EX30 deck made their first regional debut at Broadcast Asia 2008.

Building on the success of the acclaimed PMW-EX1 camcorder, the PMW-EX3 enables even greater creative freedom with an interchangeable lens system. The unit also features gen-lock and timecode in/out for multi-camera operation, while handy remote controllers allow easy operation in studio.

Sony's solid-state memory recorder/player, the PMW-EX30 features a versatile HD-SDI in/out interface. This makes it suitable for a wide variety of applications, from recording live events to viewing and dubbing. Using its HDMI single digital connection, the unit can easily be connected to an external monitor. High-quality HD, including 1920x1080 full resolution and 1080i/720p switchable, also enable the creation of value-added initiatives, such as recordings for blue-ray disc distribution.
